"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under the Heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1
Seasons...Summer is upon us with great expectations of sunshine to warm away our long winter chill. I've come to realize that the season changes in our lives is much like the changing seasons on earth. It's full of twists and turns, joy and grief and satisfaction and regrets. Life is like the seasons, always changing and unpredictable. If you find new opportunities are arising while other doors are closing, it may signify God is directing you down a new path. Sometimes these seasons are new and exciting, like a new year that comes with the fresh beginning. Other times, new beginnings can be messy. There is a tension that happens when we are in the midst of change. Living in the middle of what was and the hope of what is yet to come. Embrace the uncertainty. Trust the wait! The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move through it, and join the dance. Give yourself the grace to be there. Grace will find you! When nothing is certain, anything is possible.
"The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and even forevermore." Psalm 121:8.
"He WILL make everything beautiful in His time."
Ecclesiastes 3: 2-8
A time to be born. And a time to die.
A time to plant. And a time to pluck what is planted.
A time to kill. And a time to heal.
A time to break down. A time to build up.
A time to weep. And a time to laugh.
A time to mourn. And a time to dance.
A time to cast away stones. And a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing.
A time to gain. And a time to lose.
A time to keep. And a time to throw away.
A time to tear. And a time to sew.
A time to love, And a time to hate.
A time of war. And a time of peace.
