"The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves." PROVERBS: 13:5
Have you ever been on the receiving end of someone spreading lies about you? It’s a hard fact to accept. It hurts, right? Lying is a huge issue for many people, including Christians. "Thou shall not lie" is one of the ten commandments, but even some Christians have trouble with this commandment. Is your heart captive to someone else's lies? The real challenge is in how you respond. I want to tell you today that, if you are innocent, lies can not and should not penetrate your heart. Your heart should be so full of the love of God and the Word of God that lies can not penetrate it's depth. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy!" Live your life in such a way that your integrity will speak for you. No one else has the power to take that away from you. If other people believe lies about you then that places them in very dangerous territory. Remember who is on your side...God. God is truth; it is impossible for him to lie. The day is coming when God will clear not only His own name, but your name, too. Refresh your love for God and the Word.
"So let's not get rid of doing what's good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." Galatians 6:9

This is VERY VERY good post! Uplifting and I actually feel sorry for the people who refuse to find out the truth directly but would rather believe lies about another person especially in the church. God hates sin and He puts lying right up there at the top of the list. Thanks Sis for this timely reminder!
God bless you my dear friend!
