Unanswered Prayers

Unanswered Prayer

"How long O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide your face from me? Psalm 3:3.

Unanswered Prayer...How many times do you pray for something and it feels like your prayers have gone unanswered? This is actually a common theme in many people's spiritual journey. We often find ourselves praying, "Why Lord?" How quickly we get discouraged. Sometimes our prayers never get answered and doubt floods our minds and settles in our soul. We can spend time in God's presence telling Him about our battles, but instead of waiting for His answer, we leave and come down to where the demonic presence is waiting. What good is it if we get the glory on the mountain top but we don't see the results on the battlefield? Sometimes our greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. It could be that what you are asking for may not be in your best interest, or perhaps, the timing isn't right. God hears every prayer His children prays, and He answers them with "good gifts" in His time. Meanwhile, in our waiting, we have the gift of knowing God has heard every prayer, listened to every cry, kept track of our sorrow, and will be with us in our waiting. God always answers our prayers according to His glory and or good!

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8."

Sweetest Blessings,
Jo

"The greatest tragedy of life is not unanswered prayer, but unoffered prayer."
