Physical or Spiritual Blessings
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ." Ephesians 1:3
Blessings... I love the word 'blessings.' Oh how I love to be blessed. In fact, God blesses us every single day of our life. Were we counting, our list would be endless. I sometimes wonder if we talk more about our problems then we talk about our blessings? Could we possibly be so busy looking for our physical blessings that we forget to look for our Spiritual blessings? We often mistake them to be one and the same. Physical blessings are blessings from God that pretain to our physical being such as provisions or protection. Spiritual blessings are said to be from Heavenly places. They include such things as 'Eternal Life.' We can not see them with our natural eye, we see the with our Spiritual eyes of faith. "Now faith is the substances of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1.) God is the giver of every good and perfect gift. He who promised is faithful. He does not withhold a single blessing from any believer. Invest time each day in making a list of your blessings and thank God. Blessed are those who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing.
