"Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the filed which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman; "Has God indeed said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" Genesis 3:1.
Perhaps no other temptation is as easy to embrace as a simple lie. How do we overcome the devil's lies in our everyday life? First, recognize that the devil is a defeated foe. Jesus has been given all authority over Heaven and earth. When you receive Jesus as your savior you are given His name to use His authority. Secondly, know that not every thought comes from the Lord. Satan whispers lies in your ear all day long. Consider carefully what you hear. The devil comes to take away the Word of God from your heart. Jesus said;
"Take heed what you hear." Mark 4:24.
If your thoughts don’t not line up with the Word of God, those thoughts are not from God. The truth of the matter is this: Satan creates situations and symptoms so that we will believe a lie. God is good, regardless of bad circumstances.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11.
Set your heart and mind on God. Ask God today, "What lies am I believing?" Rebuke them and MOVE ON!
"Yours, O Lord, is the greatest and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth belong to You. Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and You are exalted head over all." 1 Corinthians 29:11.

Sweetest Blessings,
