Power of Prayer

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

Today, it seems like we are in a state of chaos all around us. Some might believe that every conflict, and every problem, is about sin alone. However, the Bible tells us our battles are against spiritual powers. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds." (2 Corinthians 10:4). You ask; "What can I do?" My friend, you hold the most powerful weapon imaginable with-in your grasp... PRAYER! Never, ever, under estimate the power of prayer! If we are not praying the kinds of prayers that scare the devil then God invites us to pray in such a way that it scares what is scared within us! We can not close our eyes and leave the battle to others. Don't just assume others are praying so your prayers aren't needed. That's what the enemy wants you to think. Learn to pray with authority. Prayer holds the power to change the impossible. Prayer calls all the supernatural powers of Heaven and places a stronghold of protection around you. Prayer places us in contact with Almighty God, and we should expect Almighty results!

"Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." Ephesians 6:10

Prayer is so important, without it, we are lost. God loves to have conversation with His people. I find myself these days praying more and more.
