Heavenly Reunion

What's on My Heart Today

A Heavenly Reunion

"Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God." Colossians 3:1.

Heaven...I've been thinking alot lately about our first day in Heaven. After all, our last breathe on this earth will be our first breath in Heaven. "Eye has not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love Him." (1 Corinthians 2:9). Can you even imagine the beauty that will unfold before your eyes? You will breathe in the purest air, smell the sweetest scents and see the most beautiful flowers, trees and folage surrounded with clear babbling brooks. Can it be, puppies and kittens chasing butterflies. What's that...Loved ones! Precious loved ones! Tears of joy, unspeakable joy flowing down their still familiar faces. All that you have held dear are here greeting you now. Your heart remembers. After the sweetest of hugs, a hush comes, friends and family began to part. You sense rather then see Deity...Arms wide open, ever so gently beckoning you into His loving embrace. Your heart knows well that you are stepping into the arms of Jesus! In Heaven, there will be no more sadness, tears, mourning, or pain. A feeling of "home" settles deep within your spirit. Your heart floods with love and joy. The Bible's promise of a reunion in Heaven is a source of hope and comfort for believers... But, for God's children, the real party awaits!

Sweetest Blessings,
Jo

"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would I have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also." John 14:1-3.
