Sweet Blessed Hope

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23.

Sweet Blessed Hope...How is your hope holding up these days? Does it rise and fall with your emotions? If you have been struggling in an area of hope, know that we all struggle to keep our hope alive and well. After all there are some days that hope is all we have to hold on to. Day after day life seems to throw us mountains of issues to wade through. Let me hand you some hope my friends, hope is real! It comes from God. Apart from God there is no hope. Hope is not something we do; it is something we possess; gifted to us by God's unending grace and the power of the Holy Spirit. Hope is an anchor for our soul. What happens when believers loose hope? They quit! Paul wrote that we should be, "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:3). Hope is a promise of spending Eternity in Heaven with Jesus and our loved ones that can give us hope for today. God has placed this hope in our hearts. The return of Jesus should be precious for Christians to place our hope. If you woke up this morning feeling hopeless, look upward my friends. Breathe the air of Heaven. It's a treasure trove of HOPE found on the promises of God's Word. 

"May the GOD of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13.
