Change My Heart
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Change My Heart...This I know, after this season our lives will never be the same. Something in us has changed. I like to think that in our waiting we have been pondering the way we are doing life. The lifestyles that we have lived seems not so important, not so sweet. We have gone from a dependency on what the world offers to an assurance of what God delivers. I believe when this current season is over our lifestyles will look very different. The way we do life and process life will have a deeper more thoughtful meaning. How we see God will change. Our relationship with Him will change. God is teaching us something valuable in our waiting. He is teaching us to treasure what is really important, what really matters, things that will not perish. Things that we can keep close to our heart. Use these precious moments to reconnect with God in a deeper, more personal way. God wants to give you the greatest treasure here on earth... His love. God is love and when we abide in His presence, He will fill you with enough love to pour over to those you cherish. After this season let's purpose to live our lives differently. Let God's love be your foundation.
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2.
