Jesus Loves Me... Do you ever have one of those days when you feel unloved? Truth be known, we all do. If you grew up in church like me, you sang a simple little song called "Jesus Loves Me." I sang it as a child, and I sang it to my children. I still often sing it to myself, holding the words close to my heart. The simple words of this song speak volumes, yet so much more. It speaks to an assurance of the depth of Jesus love. This simple little hymn is childlike in its simplicity, yet profound in its treasured message. "Jesus Loves Me." The truth of the matter is this; Many of us have a hard enough time loving ourselves and could never imagine someone else loving us. Knowing how much we are loved should silence all those inner voices that whisper to you that you are not a good enough wife, daughter, or friend. It upends all our inclinations to base our value on what others say. To Him, you are precious! Imagine that! We who trip and fall and fail more than we care to admit. God has formed many diamonds, but He made only one you. Today, be reminded that you are cherished and oh! how He loves you and wants to spend time with you.
