Imagine

What's On My Heart Today

Imagine

"Set our minds on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth." Colossians 3:2

Imagine...God came to you in a dream with an out-stretched hand and invites you to come with Him? You reach for His hand and in that moment, you see Heaven unfolding before your eyes. You think, "Oh" It's so beautiful! You pause momentarily, taking in the paradise before you. You think of "pureness." You feel a sense of peace, comforting you, welcoming you. Every description you have ever heard about Heaven pales in the reality of what is standing before you. You sense you have just stepped into eternity, a daughter of a King. You just entered His kingdom, a royal being. You feel in your heart a long-awaited sense of being home...And then you wake up! C.S. Lewis famously said: "If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were not made for this world." Heaven will seem more like home than the dearest place on earth to you. God has served notice; He has decreed a family reunion. If Heavens Throne Room has a calendar, one day very soon is circled in red and highlighted in yellow. Would you ready? Imagine That!

"But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9.
