What's On My Heart Today
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6.
Gift of Peace... This is the beginning of a brand-new year. We could have a conversation about what we are leaving behind, what lies ahead, or our New Year's resolutions. My heart say's, let's talk about "Peace." This has been a stressful year for everyone, including believers. Anxiety often knocked on the door of our hearts. God knew this would come and He addressed it 429 times in His Word. "Peace, I leave with you." The world offers us many solutions to our fears. But here's what Jesus offers us HIMSELF! He offers us the peace of His love, His steadfast protection and the solid rock of His foundation. Trust the Prince of Peace who never fails to calm the storm and quiet our heart. Know the source of peace and learn to put yourself in the presence of His peace. Let Worship music fill up the atmosphere of your space. As daughters of Christ, we have been given the incredible gift of Peace. Let's lift our voices in praising Him and growing our faith together. This means that we don't ever have to let fear trouble our hearts again. Choose peace...it's a choice.
"Peace, I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
John 14:27.
