A Woman's Heart

What's On My Heart Today

"When You said, "Seek My face, "My heart said to You, "Your face Lord, I will seek." Psalm 27:8

From A Woman's Heart... I have been blessed to lead a Christian women's group into worship. At a women's retreat, I heard the Lord whisper in my heart, "Teach My daughter's to worship me, "in My presence." That was a profound moment in my life. I knew that I was not worthy of such a high calling, but I did know who was, Jesus Christ. But how was I going to teach "in His presence?" It is nothing that can be taught, it has to be felt in the heart. Worship is defined as simply a divine encounter with God. Other than church, when is the last time you truly worshipped the Lord? Just you and Him?

I know that time changes, including music, but for me, the songs that were written on my heart years ago, when I first learned to worship, still take me to the place I first meet Jesus and developed the relationship I have today. Oh how I miss those beautiful early days of my Christian walk, sealed forever! They are still refreshingly beautiful to me today. Find worship music that opens your heart and invite Jesus into your presence.

Every day we face trials that pull us away from our worship time, but friends, overcomers are the ones who, in faith and love, find their way into the Holy Place through worship time and experience an intimacy and a joy with the Lord they never thought possible. Their focus of worship is God.

We will get the chance for all eternity to see Him face to face, but let us not forget about His presence here today. If you believe in an omnipresent God, then God is right before you this very moment in time. This week let's all purpose to wrap our hearts around worshiping our Lord in our quiet time at home. He wants to meet you in that secret place and lift you above all that troubles you. A Woman's Heart!

"I said to the Lord, "You are my God," My supplication lord." Psalm 140:6.

Sweetest Blessings,
