Enduring Long Suffering

What's On My Heart Today

"Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day." Corinthians 4:16.

Enduring Long Suffering... It is a fact, our human bodies age! Sickness will take a seat in our physical body, and it often will rise up like a powerful beast. Sounds depressing, right? The fact is that the aging process is a natural, even beautiful part of life for Christians. Harmony can exist between our physical and spiritual natures and it is an important condition for finding true happiness in our journey of aging. It's often hard to see when the pangs of illness rise up to claim our joy. Understand this... THE  SPIRIT OF GOD WITHIN YOU IS STRONGER THAN THE SICKNESS IN YOU! Solomon asked all the questions and looked squarely at all of life, it's hopes, dreams, joys, and sorrows. In the end he declares that we must cease asking questions and simply WORSHIP GOD. This life has meaning when we rise above the futility of man's wisdom to embrace God's wisdom in the light of Eternity.

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9.

Heavenly Father, You have created us to live through Your Spirit. Teach us to yield to Him rather than to our flesh. Amen.

Sweetest Blessings,
