What's On My Heart Today... "Fresh New Mercies"
“The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day" Lamentations 3:22-23
Mercy... God's number one characteristic throughout the Bible is "Mercy." It is through His mercy that broken hearts are healed, forgotten dreams are restored, and weary souls are refreshed. Mercy is the cure for every insecurity, every worry, and every fear. God's mercy is constant and never ceasing. When Moses was leading the Israelite's through the wilderness, God provided the manna from Heaven one day at a time. There was no storing up. God appoints each day's mercies new every morning. How can we receive God's mercy in our lives? Come into His Presence, humble yourself before Him, and seek to know Him more intimately. Today, God would say to you...
"My mercy endures forever" 1 Chronicles 16:34
