What's On My Heart Today... "For Such A Time As This"
"And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
Do you sometimes struggle to find your purpose in life? In the Book of Esther, Mordecai suggests that God has positioned Esther for this very purpose in history “for such a time as this." Few of us will find ourselves in a royal court or in a position to save a whole race of people, but we should know that God placed us in our specific time in history, our specific family, and our specific journey for “such a time as this.” You were born a missionary and your mission field is the ground beneath your feet. The first part of Esther 4:14 says; "For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish." It's our call to stand up and be the voice of God. Today, God would say to you...
"You were born for such a time as this!"
