What's On My Heart Today... "Unconditional Love"
"Our Redeemer--the LORD Almighty is his name---is the Holy One of Israel." Isaiah 47:4
How precious, how awesome, how beautiful, God healed our brokenness that day on Calvary. The hill of the cross is rich with the gifts of God’s grace. Many do not understand the value of the gift that God extended to us by sacrificing his only beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus loved us so much, He laid His life down on our behalf. Such love. We could write a non stop list regarding all the good, kind and wonderful things Jesus (our Redeemer) does for His own. Here's something to think about. He did all of this "before" we were "His own." Before we belonged to Him. Before we chose to live for Him. Before we yielded our lives to Him. He died first, to save, touch and heal all who would receive His gift to us. And, oh what a gift. A gift of unconditional love. Reflect on what He’s done. Connect your heart with the One who paid it all. Today, God would say to you...
"You were ransomed with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot."
1 Peter 1: 18-19
