Earth Angels

What's On My Heart Today... Earth Angels

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Matthew 9:36-38

"Earth Angels" Sounds nice right? I was thinking maybe this describes what we are called to be on earth. Not Biblical angelic angels, but angels to others in need. Jesus saw that the people were helpless, His heart went out to them. People who share a kind word in time of need, who do a simple deed that lifts a weary heart, who makes a difference in a difficult day. Look for opportunities to be an earth angel. The next time you see someone that looks like they may need help, stop and be that angel through a gentle act of kindness. These moments are opportunities for you to be a little bit of heaven right here on earth. A heart that gives shows the heart of God's compassion. God treasures those who help His children. A willing heart and open hands opens the door to His storehouse of provision, a storehouse that has an endless supply. What do you have to share?

Sweetest Blessings,
Jo
