Good, Good Father

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places." Ephesians 1:3

Have you gone to church recently and heard the song “Good, Good Father?" This song resonates deep within my heart! We see a glimpse of our Heavenly Father as a father figure in these lyrics. "You’re a Good, Good Father ~ It’s who You are ~ And I’m loved by You." Can you even grasp how wide and how deep His perfect love is for us? God reveals through the New Testament that we can have a warm, affectionate, personal relationship with Him. No one will ever fully understand the measure of God’s greatness, goodness, and love until eternity. However, you can begin a journey to understand the love of God now. His love toward us, the good that He does for us, and the constant care that He gives us. When you spend time in worship, reading your Bible, and in prayer, God will reveal Himself to you. He will meet you in every detail of your life. Can we even measure all the blessing given to us by being one of God's children...Being loved by Him? “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours." (Luke 15:31). His love wants to hold you close.
