Meekness and Humility

"When pride comes, then comes disgrace but with the humble is wisdom. Proverbs 11:2

"Did you know that even Christians can be guilty of haughtiness. Say what? True! The Bible teaches us that those who become proud and hold an over-exaggerated opinion of themselves are preparing for a great fall. Did you know that conceit, pride, vanity, self-importance, fault-finding, and smugness are all a spirit of Haughtiness? Simply put, pride is you looking at you for your needs. How does one know that they have haughtiness active in their lives? The only way to truly know is to look at your self in pure honesty. How many times in the course of your day do you find fault with others? I suspect that many of us may have a spirit of haughtiness laying at our doorpost. Meekness is an attitude of heart. The humble person is not one who thinks meanly of himself; he simply does not think of himself at all! Humility is a state of mind and an outstanding Christian grace. Without humility, no man can come proudly before God.

Sweetest Blessings,
