Oh How He Loves You and Me

"The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness." Jeremiah 31:3

We are living in a world where love is getting to be harder and harder to find. While you may long to be loved by someone you can see, feel and touch, God’s love touches and satisfies a deeper part of our soul. Our Heavenly Father created every piece and part of our being. We are "wonderfully made. His workmanship is "marvelous" in us. He watched as we were “woven together in the dark of the womb” He saw us “before we were born." He “recorded every day in His Holy Book and every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” God is that personal. His love is powerful on our behalf, His grace is deep and overwhelming, His mercies are new every day. “we are His portion” and "we are God’s inheritance." Us. In our despicable, sinful muck, we are God’s greatest treasure. Please, don’t undervalue that, friends! The God of heaven and earth, the author and perfector of life itself, the One who is, who always was, and who always will be, the One who needs nothing, wants you and me. There was never a time in all of eternity when we were not loved by God. Oh, how He loves you and me!
