The Glory of God

"The Heavens declare the Glory of God; the skies proclaim the works of His Hands." Psalm 19:1

My beautiful granddaughter took this amazing picture, gave it Scripture, and shared it on Facebook. My heart was immensely blessed to see her love for God. What a precious token of God’s love to me and to everyone! I think of two things, first, of this everlasting promise in Scripture; “Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God; keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations.” (Deut. 31:6). Secondly, I am reminded that there is so much to learn about our loving Father through nature. "When I look at your Heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of Him." (Psalm 8:3-4). David looked up at the sky and saw a declaration of the glory of God. Where's your heart today? Are you paying attention to something life-giving and wholesome and beautiful and good. Look around you; the heavens are still declaring the glory of God. Are you listening?
