Life...So what do we do when life doesn't make sense anymore? When everything appears to be upside down, and we wonder, are we even safe anymore? God, in His infinite mercy and grace, assures us that even though everything seems like it's falling apart, it is actually falling into place. Unbelief sees only the misery of the present. Faith in God anchors us when life threatens to overwhelm us. Your problems may seem overwhelming right now, perhaps even bigger than you know. But God is bigger, and His promises to you are stronger and surer. Your anxieties are temporary, but the Lord and His grace are everlasting. When the promises of God seem powerless to quiet your fears, or lift your worries, you need to behold the God who gave the promises. So, look up from your problems. We are fighting a battle He's already won! God is moving in ways we can't understand with our own eyes but God would whisper to you, "Be still and allow Me to calm the storm in your heart." The things that you think are going wrong in our world, God is using for His glory. Fix your eyes on Jesus Christ...He knows how the story ends!
"Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 peter 1:13.
