"Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift." 2 Corinthians 9:15.
Christmas is almost here. Our trees are trimmed, our gifts are wrapped, anticipation stirs the air. This year I am especially reminded that Christmas is so much more than buying and wrapping gifts and cooking and trimming our tree. It's a season of reflection and renewal. As Christmas approaches, it's perfect time to put aside our Christmas preparations and reach for our Bibles where the story of the Christ Child awaits us...It's a quiet, holy feeling of love and hope as we reflect on the birth of our Savior Christ Jesus. I wonder what God our Father must have felt when He made the decision to send His only beloved Son to become the Savior of mankind. He gave the most precious thing He had to give, "This is my beloved Son..." (Matt. 3:17). Jesus left the Heavens and all it's beauty, said goodbye to His Father, and started on a journey to earth by means of the virgin Mary. He died on an old rugged cross, rose on the third day and now sits at the right hand of His Father in Heaven. Through Jesus Christ, we are son's and daughters of a most high God. Through Jesus we have been gifted with the most valuable gift of all, eternal life..."Indescribable gift."
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." James 1:17.
"May our hears prepare Him room, our lives reflect His presence, our homes radiate His peace."
