Blessed to be a Blessing

Blessings: One who has been bestowed with blessings and is now is a position to share those blessings with others.

"But do not forget to do good and share, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16.

Everyday when we wake up we have a choice, we can set our hearts on good things or bad things. By setting our hearts we are able to feel at peace in an unsettled world. Our gratitude for all things, both good and bad will help us stay hopeful in the future. My new heart string is to purpose everyday to count my blessings. Being able to recognize and appreciate our blessings in life is a blessing in it's self. The Bible tells us that our blessings are not meant to be hoarded but shared. God not only blesses us, He has made us to be a blessing. Blessed to be a blessing! The point here is to pay your blessings forward. If you have ever been the recipient of someone's "pay it forward" kind word or deed, you know the uplift it can bring. Our actions reflect our hearts. The ripples of a kind heart are the highest blessings. Pass your blessings on. A hoarded blessing will never be enjoyed as richly as a shared one. It can be monetary or simply a kind word or smile. When I look back on my life as a whole, it is impossible not to feel blessed. 

"Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this, the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand on." Deuteronomy 15:10.

Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing!
