But God

But God

But God...God's grace, mercy and faithfulness.

"My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26.

But God...is at the heart of the gospel message. There are 44 instances of "But God" in the Bible and they are always followed by good news. I've fallen in-love with these two little words packed with so much power. It ties my last three years of trials into a beautiful memory! Trials are no respecter of people. Just look through the Bible from Noah to Paul. Unspeakable trials, yet, each story points to God's grace, mercy and faithfulness. Life is not always fair and we often ask, "why?" What what God has for us is worth far more than the hard things He asks of us. Now I understand Paul's statement,"I consider it all joy," Our trials are actually a beautiful journey made much richer because of them."But God!" If you are in a place of long suffering and have no hope, you can be sure of this; God is bigger then your problems and He will always have the last word. What an amazing set of words to write on our hearts. Write your own "But God" story and share it with someone else. These two little words can change an entire life in one moment. "But God."

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace towards me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, but for the grace of God which was in me." 1 Corinthians 15:10 (NKJV).

"Iv'e learned to kiss the wave that throws me againts the rock!" "But for the grace of God!"

Sweetest Blessings,
Jo
