Take Heart

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Take Heart...It's easy to lose heart these days. This world is going crazy! The simple truth is life is hard! It has been hard for every generation. No where in God's Word does it tell us that we would never have troubles in this world. But we somehow never seem prepared when trouble knocks on our door and our faith begins to crumble. God prepared His disciple's for trouble and the same message holds true for us today. "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Jesus peace comes from the inside out rather than the outside in. We are armed with the knowledge that God's peace is eternal peace that cannot fail. Yes, we will have tribulation, but we can be of good cheer! Jesus is telling us to take COURAGE! He's got this. It is in tribulations we learn the awesome power of God. The really good news is, our troubles here are only temporary. This earth is not our home. It's really a pathway to our eternal destination. Take Heart!  

"While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18
