What's On My Heart Today "Insignificant Opportunities"
For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6
How do you process every thought that runs through your mind in a given day? We know that decisions have consequences, so how do we decided which ones are positive or negative? Maybe you hear that still small voice in your heart that say's "WOA?" That's surely God? Right? Somewhere in the jumbled thoughts of our minds we often see through the lens of our experiences. But what if the other idea, the one that didn't make any sense, was the right one? How can we know?
Just because an opportunity presents itself, and it looks appealing, doesn't mean it is from God. And likewise, just because an open door looks uncertain doesn't mean you shouldn't walk through it. Sometimes God presents opportunities that look small or insignificant, maybe even ordinary. But an ordinary stone took down a giant. Be open to what God has in store through the little ordinary things in your life. Ask God for wisdom throughout your day to see what's significant in your life. Only the things that are significant will take you higher.
