There's nothing wrong with happiness, but happiness without holiness can often lead us down a wrong path, a path away from God. If you pursue happiness over holiness, you will loose both. But if you pursue holiness over happiness you will gain both. We are a selfish people who covet our own desires. However, it has been said, "nothing can truly be ours until we give it away." Jesus said it best; "He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it" Learn to live out the truth of holiness not the selfishness of happiness.
