God Looks at the Heart

"I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve." Jeremiah 17:10

Have you ever asked yourself these questions? "What does God see in me?" "Does He find me worthy?" I think as daughters of the King, we have all at one time or another thought of how we will live out what is in our hearts in a way that pleases God. Guess what? He reads your heart and knows the whole truth about you. He knows the thoughts and intents of every heart. Your heart's condition depends on the things you allow into your heart. Your thoughts and attitudes ultimately, shape the deepest part of your being. Our speech, our actions, and our priorities reveal the true nature of our hearts. So the heart is utterly crucial to Jesus. What we are in the deep, private recesses of our heart is what he cares about most. What does God see when He looks at your heart? Is there sin living there. Sin comes in many forms and if we are being honest, just like we clean our house each day, we need to take the garbage out of our hearts each day too. You're in charge of guarding your own heart. Will you purpose in your heart today to focus more on the inside than on the outside? "Keep your heart with all vigilance for from it flow the springs of life." Proverbs 4:23

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

This is good Jo! I have to examine my heart several times a day because frustration and bad thoughts can creep in so fast. Thanks for posting this!
