What's On My Heart Today "Choices"

 

Many are the plans in the mind of man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand." Proverbs 19:21

 

Every morning when we wake up, we have choices. We set the mood for our day. In your first moments of wakefulness, do you wander through your woes of yesterday or your to-do list for today? Or do you choose to greet God first? If you choose to put God first, you will be flooded with His power and His hope... and a great day will follow. Try to be a good steward of your choices. Be conscious of your strength and weaknesses. Focus on listening for His voice and then give Him your attention. All the difficulties and disappointments of this life pale in comparison to the riches of His grace. We can meet our day with grumbling and complaining, setting the day before us for failure, or we can purpose to have set God before us and have a great day and walk in it.
