What's On My Heart Today "Righteousness"

 

"I have said the good man will live. But if he sins, expecting his past goodness to save him, then none of his good deeds will be remembered." Ezekiel 33:13

 

Righteousness “Acting in accord with divine or moral law: free from guilt or sin.” Some people will say, I've been saved and I'm going to heaven. There's no question in their minds because someone told them "once saved always saved." Our Scripture today tells us differently. It tells us that even if you were saved, if you go back out into sin you are not going to have eternal life unless you repent for those sins. We reap what we sow. God said; "the good man will live." (Ezekiel 33:15). But if he sins, expecting his past goodness to save him then none of his good deeds will be remembered. God will destroy him for his sins. The good news is that forgiveness is just a prayer away!!
