What if the only things you were allowed to take with you today were the things that you already have packed in your heart? What would that luggage look like? Would it be packed full of anger, lies, bitterness, fear? Have you ever meet a strong person with an easy past? Life's struggles can leave our hearts full of things that will have no value when we reach our destination. Hopefully, your heart is full of truth, wisdom, hope and treasures. "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Psalm 139:23." This should give us pause to rethink what we have already packed in our heart. As Christians, we need to check our hearts often. Invite God to help you tend the wellspring of your soul by paying close attention to what you are packing in your heart. Today, God would say to you...
