What's On My Heart Today... "Spiritual Heart Disease"

Heart disease is a major problem. I just happen to know quite a lot about heart disease because my husband has lived with it for many years. The effects of it can certainly be uncomfortable and alarming. Isn't it interesting that when we feel actual physical pain, it get's our attention? Spiritually speaking, people suffer almost the same problem. Rather then it being a cardiovascular muscle, it is the core of our spiritual life. Habitual sinning causes us to develop Spiritual heart disease. If it is left untreated we will suffer eternal death. Everyone must periodically have a physical exam to determine the state of their physical health. Likewise, every Christian must have a spiritual self-exam to determine if spiritual hardening of the heart is a threat. If you have the symptoms, look to the Great Physician for the cure! Today, God would say to you...
