"That you may walk worthy of God, in all things pleasing; being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God." Colossians 1:10
What purpose do you see your life's journey as? We've all heard the saying, "It's not about the destination, it's about the journey." Although, some Christian's might disagree because they see our destination as heaven. I think it's both! I believe that God desires us to live with a heart for heaven, but I also believe that He desires our journey to be fruitful! What will others see from your journey, will they see a fruitful life, or will they see barren land? Have you struggled with problems more then you have found joy? None of us wants to get to the end of our life and look back on barren land. What fruit do you see in your life? Are people brought to Christ through you? Do you encourage others in their Christian walk? Or do you see more fruit in your own life as you follow Christ year after year? The key to producing fruit is growing closer to Jesus, knowing Him more immanently, loving Him in a deeper way. Relish life as you live it, find joy in the journey, and share your love with others. It's that simple. Life doesn't have to be complicated. An abundant life will bear fruit when you allow the Father to be your guide.
