Hustle and Bustle

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

The holiday season comes with a busyness of life that has most of us trying to fit way too many activities into each day. We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. My friends, pause for just a moment and take inventory of your time, don't let yourself get so busy that you miss all the little but important extras in life. The beauty of a day, a smile of a friend. A hug from loved one. It is often the smallest pleasures and gentle joys that make the biggest and most lasting difference. This time of year can be very stressful, but still, there is something so special about it. It’s that quiet holy feeling amidst the hustle and bustle of all the business. It’s the feeling of love and hope as we reflect on the birth of our Savior Christ Jesus. Let life be a process and not a race. When Christ resides within your heart, the pressure, anxiety and demands of this season can be calmed through His gentle strength. Each day is sprinkled with cups of blessings, take time to sit and drink in it's goodness.
