When Change Comes

"Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me." Psalm 119:113 ESV

In an blink of an eye, change can come into our life. Uprooting all that we hold dear. Change may throw us into chaos and turmoil, often completely rearranging our lives. But wait! Maybe it really isn't about uprooting us, but rather it's about re-planting us in a more fertile ground? There are no absolutes in this journey called life. We can not ask God to lead and guide our lives and then scream "unfair" when He does just that. He keeps teaching us, correcting us, and redirecting us. How good God is, our Heavenly Father loves us too much to leave us in a space that is unhealthy for our Souls. After Moses died, leaving Joshua with the overwhelming responsibility of leading the Israelites into the Promised Land, God encouraged Joshua by promising: “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.” Open your heart to what God puts before you. Don't put a question mark where He has put a period! God is always leading and guiding our footsteps towards his heart. That's love!

Great post Sis, I love the scripture of God telling Joshua to have courage and that He was with him as with Moses. Change isn't always easy but thank you Jesus that He said He would be with us through it all.
