Sing Praises to the Lord

"Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion. Declare His deeds among the people." Psalm 98:11

You may think that singing is just, well...singing? Not so, singing serves multiple purposes. It is the heart of worship that God sees and values. My soul delights in worshiping my God in song. Did you know that singing praises is also a form of spiritual warfare. David wrote many worship songs in the book of Psalm. Some call the Book of Psalm a praise book for God's people. These songs all have one purpose, to give us the words to sing when we stand before God. You may be in the middle of a war. Look at the words, take them in, believe them, and let them soar into the air. Lift up the shield of faith by lifting up your voice. What's that, you can't sing? Never fear… you don’t need a beautiful voice. God delights in the praises of His people, no matter the level of talent! Here is the bottom line on praise and worship, music is powerful. Singing Worship songs can break through and touch hearts where words cannot. Singing praises to God calls Him and all the powers of Heaven into your presence. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Oh how I love to sing and worship The Lord! Singing praise songs breaks through problems and brings us in the Holy of Holies! It's such a wonderful feeling to sing to Jesus!
