Praise Him in the Hallway

"Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage, wait for the Lord" Psalm27:14 ESV

Are you stuck in a time when God seems quiet or far away? Do you find it hard to patiently wait? Maybe your wondering if anything significant can come out of being still? Are you feeling like this time of ordinary living could never result in something meaningful? Think of this as, "Waiting in the Hallway." You can't go back and you don't know how to move forward. Here's the thing, God wants you to live a purposeful life but He needs you to be prepared. Maybe there's something in your life that He wants you to take notice. Maybe it isn't even about you, He often intertwines our lives with others. In the midst of waiting, be patient, it's okay to be still, there is a quiet place that you can retreat to, it is within your soul. Lean into God's presence. Listen for His voice, praise Him in the hallway. God is always moving us forward in His time. Be sure that you don't step ahead of Him. The times when you couldn't hear His voice, He was going ahead of you to prepare the way.
