Praying For Unsaved Loved Ones

"As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right." 1 Samuel 12:23.

Unsaved Loved Ones...Has your heart been burdened for an unsaved loved one? I think most of can say yes to that question. If you are a Christian you know that those who never except the Lord will not be in Heaven. That can be hearbreaking. It's natural to feel concerned and anxious when we think of our beloved family and friends who haven't yet found their way to Jesus. You begin to feel discouraged and wonder if your prayers ever really help. Absolutly YES! The Bible encourages believers to "bear one another's burdens" (Galatians 6:2) and to intercede on their behalf. You may not see the fruit of your prayers immediately, or you may never even see the full impact of your intercession in this life, but don't get discouraged and give into doubt... It's God's will to save them! God is in the business of doing the impossible, and He can change even the hardest hearts. However, you come to God in prayer, strong, weak, discouraged, or hopeful, remember that God hears your prayers. We plant the seed and God waters them...Keep praying!
