Living in a Broken World

"I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart; I have overcome the world." John 16:33.

BROKEN...We find ourselves living in a broken world! Everyday we hear of atrocities that test our faith. Satan uses these distractions to take our eyes off of Jesus. Discontent has spillover. Nothing surprises our Lord. He knows every day of our life and he has set before us a perfect survival plan. He has commissioned us, "Do not be anxious about anything." Jesus has already won the victory and He has given us His Spirit to help us live in victory! He is the Great I AM, our refuge and our strength. He's got you covered under the shadow of His wings. Wake up every morning, instead of turning on the TV or reading the newspaper, ask Him to give you  peace that outweighs everything that's going on around you. Embrace what Paul said, "I've learned to be content with all things." We can't change the world or what is coming our way but we can change our attitudes towards it. We can choose to wake up each day and purpose to live through the power of Christ within us. Keep God at the center of your day. Don't stop living. Put your treasure in relationships. Love your family, your friends and delight in the beauty of nature. There you will find order, harmony,  beauty and peace. Enjoy the blessings of each day and pay them forward. 

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not loose heart." Galatians 6:9.
