Prusuing Patience

Prusuing Patience

"Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don't give up." Galatians 6:9.

Lets talk about "Spring." I LOVE spring because my heart rests in gardening. This year spring as been hiding its sweet face from our part of the country. Evidently it doesn't care that I've already packed our winter cloths neatly away for the next  season. I struggle with patience! Though patience is a struggle to produce on our own, patience teaches us to wait and know that God is still in charge.

4 things that I learned in my time of waiting...

1. Nature doesn't go by my time! Seasons come and go and that's a promise!
2.There is purpose in our waiting. It is in our waiting that we learn our best fought lessons. God is faithful!
3. God loves what brings our heart joy. There is treasures in everyday if we just look for them.
4. The Lord enters the journey of those who wait. When you allow God to do His work in your life, you will begin to experience blessings, see His power, and feel His love in new ways.

So, here I am, garden gloves and spade in hand waiting patiently. Pursuing patience and trusting there is a purpose in what my waiting is teaching me. I've learned the sweetest things in life that's worth waiting for have come through patience. Is your patience being tested today? Great! Find a purpose in your waiting and watch God work wonders! He makes ALL things beautiful in HIS time.

“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14.

Sweetest Blessings,
Jo
