"Wasted Time"
"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of time, because the days are evil." Ephesians 5:15-16.
Wasted Time...What do you have planned for today? Maybe you're like me and you woke up with good intentions for today but then you sit down to gather your thoughts, the phone rings, a text comes in or you peek at the internet, before you know it, minutes turn to hours and we're lost in the vortex of wasted time. Our plans went out the window. What if I told you that how we spend our time matters? Time is one of our most valuable gifts from God? Where we spend our time is where our heart is. We were created to live a life that is the fullest for Jesus Christ and His glory. Jesus addresses this to Martha in Luke 10, "Few things are necessary, really only one. Mary has chosen the better portion and it will not be taken from her." Time alone in the presence of God is never wasted. Life is fleeting, here and gone. Choose your time wisely. May God, give you eyes to see what's hindering you and what truly brings you life. May you find purpose, peace and joy in your choosing.
"Teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom." Psalm 90:12.
