Kindred Hearts

What's On My Heart Today
"Kindred Hearts"

"As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart." Proverbs 27:19.

Kindred Hearts...Sounds charming right? But what does it mean? Kindred means "of a similar nature or character" Have you ever met someone and felt an instant connection with them like you were long lost sisters? Spiritually speaking, kindred hearts encourage each other's soul. In Spiritual terms, it’s the reflection of Jesus Christ in each other’s hearts. Those who cherish and delight in Jesus are instantly drawn to others who exude His presence and radiate His glory. The truth is, we attract people to us based on what we reflect. If we reflect God’s glory, we will draw people who desire more of Him. If we reflect our own ego and personalities, we will draw people who are attracted to our persona. Charisma attracts attention, but character attracts affection. Two people relying on the Lord and motivating each other is a great combination. God can use that connection to build powerhouses that will serve Him in unison. God will put some talents in one and different talents in the other, when they come together, watch out world! Be a woman of godly character, and you will attract other women who love Jesus as much as you do...Kindred hearts.

"As soon as he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul." 1 Samuel 18:1.

Sweetest Blessings,
Jo
