Living A Simple Life

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." Galatians 5:1

Living A Simple Life... My husband and I have reached an age where we feel a desire to live a much simpler life. Our faith is the most important thing to us now. Everything functions around our faith. Did you know that there is a spiritual side to minimalism? If our faith were not in tact, our life would be in constant chaos. Our faith effects how we live, how we make decisions, how we spend our money, our time, our relationships and our future.

It is our faith that keeps us focused on what's important and what's not. In reality, a simple life is what most of us desire at any age. Living a simple life is peace of mind. We are not free to live a simple life if we are bound by a yoke of bondage to things that have no eternal value. One day, everything we possess will be gone and Lord willing, we will be standing before the gates of heaven without baggage.

"He brought me out of a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me." Psalm 18:19.
