Today is the beginning of a new year. We could have a conversation about what we are leaving behind, what lies ahead, or our New Years resolutions. But today... God wants to share His heart with you.
God loves you and He wants to "Woo" you to His heart! He desires you to come sit in His shadow and rest in His presence. To bask in His love. "Let it not be enough to live in the outer court and fail to enter the holy place." Being in God's presence is being in His most Holy place. Jesus made a way for us to enter into His "Holy Place." Make it your hearts desire this year to receive the fullness of His love.
"So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the Lord's people, to grasp how wide and long, and high and deep is the love of Christ, and know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to measure of all fullness of God." Ephesians 3:17-19.
God desires a close and intimate relationship with you. This is the longing and love of His heart and the plan of His creation from the beginning. He see's you as a precious treasure, chosen and cherished.
"I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with loving kindness." Jeremiah 31:4.
You can begin this journey to intimacy with the Lord through daily; "Worship ~ Word ~ Prayer." Let this be the compass you live by, the center of your life, and the air you breathe!
"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him." John 4:23.
May God's overwhelming presence breathe new life into you today.
