What's On My Heart Today "How Sweet It Is"
"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die." Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
Life! Good or bad, is meant to be a journey that meanders through birth, first loves, careers, grandchildren, and along the way a much anticipated retirement. Each phase filled with mountains and valleys, old heartaches and new horizons. Then what? If your lucky, you found your life mate that will still be standing beside you, and that is good. Hopefully, your children and grandchildren are doing well, and bring you joy. But what if, when you reach this final phase of your journey, you are left with a feeling of emptiness? C.S. Lewis wrote; "If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were not made for this world." When you know the Savior and believe in the promises of eternity, your loved ones and all that you hold dear, will join you in your finial destination...Heaven. Awh! How sweet it is!
