What's On My Heart Today... "Sweet Peace"
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
"Worry" Oops! Most of us are guilty of this little annoyance. Worry is one of the areas of a Christian walk that many of us struggle with. We shouldn't worry! Jesus commands us many times, "Do not worry." Has anything good ever come out of all the worrying you have done? Absolutely not! Has God ever failed you in the midst of your worrying? Never! What is the result of not worrying? PEACE! Paul says in Philippians 4:7, "His peace will guard our hearts and minds as we live in Christ Jesus." Wow! Paul is guaranteeing that God will give us peace of mind. God is interested in every detail of your life. Whatever you do, don't let your worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today. It is a violation of our relationship to God to question His authority by worrying. Today, God would say to you...
"My peace I give to you."
