What's On My Heart Today... "Precious Promises"
“By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises..." 2 Peter 1:4
Every morning when we wake up we are faced with some sort of challenge. So often, we face these challenges without obvious answers. Instead of calling up our faith, it can seem easier to worry, doubt, and expect defeat. When you wake up face to face with challenges, take heart, God's promises still stand true for today. God is our safety net. His promises are our safeguard. They keep our soul from falling into the pit of discouragement. The Bible is the Word of God, life changing and powerful, full of promises for our life's challenges. God has never promised to remove all our troubles, problems, and difficulties. But He has promised, in the midst of trouble and conflict, a genuine peace, a sense of assurance and security. Today, God would say to you...
"I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed..." Malachi 3:6
