When Bad Things Happen

'The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him." Lamentations 3:25

Sometimes when we’ve had a long series of disappointing things happen, we can get into the very bad habit of expecting more of what we’ve already had. We’ve all had days (and maybe even years) when life doesn’t seem to be going our way. We have all faced different levels of heartbreak, setbacks, disappointments, burnout, stress and sadness. We’ve all been tempted to loose hope. We often expect immediate answers to our prayers but God's timing is almost always different then our timing. Trust Him while you wait. Know this, all your pain has a purpose. Every difficulty in your life God will use to produce more strength. Faith is a choice, not a feeling. It means choosing to trust God even when nothing in your life makes any sense. Continue praying when you feeling worried, and keep going when you feel like quitting. Choose to keep a positive attitude and thankful heart regardless of what you’re going through. The Lord is good to those who wait.

Sweetest Blessings,
Jo
